Hi, that's a pity your tank pad did not fit properly, as if you had of given us a call before fitting the tank pad, we would have told you that Aprilia have 2 tank pressings for the Falco which look identical, but they are not which meant we had to make a new mold. They swap and change their tanks so it looks like you have the wrong tank pad for your bike. All tank pads are molded directly from the tank so they must fit like a glove. Also, on the instructions, it clearly states in BOLD writing that if the tank pad does not fit properly when giving it a dry fit, to not fit it at all, as you are likely to have the wrong pad for your bike.If it was fitted by the Store, then I suggest that you bring it to their attention.

bought one today from A1 in melbourne. Had a ten mm gap between top of tank protector and tank. Ended up having to cut it down to. half size and still use some rubber beading to take up the slack. WTF. Is it possible A1 sold me a protector for a different bike?

Have had this on my Falco for close to 10 years now and still looks great. Never moved. Solid. Provides excellent protection and coverage. So much so that have just bought a new bike and first purchase is a new protector from these guys.
